Ok, I got it

As a young kid (during the mid to late 80's) I rode around on a BMX which thanks to my parents photo album, learnt to be a Raleigh Raider. I have very fond memories of that time and the enjoyment I felt roaming the local vicinity with the local kids is irreplaceable.

I always remember the cool kid from around the corner who had the bike with "plastic wheels" I was very jealous...

...meanwhile...

My 21st Birthday was approaching... My parents asked me what I wanted... and with these recent nostalgic memories in mind I decided to purchase an old school BMX. Following a cursory search of the net I was in no doubt that for me the Burner was definately the bike to be had... and 'one with plastic wheels this time'.

Eventually, an ad' in my local paper enabled me to make my acquisition; GBP 40.00. Back of the car. Chuffed! This later became what was to be The 'Lightning Burner.
